Science IT resources are not intended for long-term archival or publication of research data. For guidance on storing and sharing research data, please refer to the University Library.

Data Archiving¶

UZH Central IT (ZI) offers a long-term storage for multiple years that is based on tape drives. To copy your data to the long-term storage (LTS) your data needs to fulfill multiple criteria (e.g. pre-zipped/tarred directories up to 5 TB in size, no 0 bytes files, use of SMB-based protocol).
