This documentation provides guidance on how to use the Science IT Computing Services at UZH.

  • ScienceCloud is a research-focused cloud infrastructure offering flexible virtual machines, GPU access, and storage solutions tailored for scientific computing. It allows researchers to deploy and manage custom computing environments on demand — ideal for simulations, data analysis, and software development. 👉User Guide 👉Training Handout
  • ScienceCluster is a managed high-performance computing (HPC) cluster designed for compute-intensive research, including large-scale jobs and GPU- or memory-intensive workloads.     • ScienceApps is a web-based interface to the ScienceCluster that enables users to run interactive applications such as Jupyter, RStudio, and VSCode directly from their browser.   • Supercomputer provides access to the Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS) systems, such as the Alps supercomputer.
